Attention Therapy families with Friday and Saturday appointments: we were informed earlier today that the Perspectivas Park complex will be having the parking lots sealed. Work is scheduled to begin Friday at noon and should be completed by Sunday.

Parking: You may have to park towards the front of the building (by Waverly) and walk along the sidewalk towards Reed Hartman (west) following the sidewalk past the side of the building and down the steps and to the sidewalk that connects to our entrance. The steps right outside our doors unfortunately, do not connect to a sidewalk making it necessary to walk on the blacktop, making this a poor option for accessing our entrance.

We anticipate some strong odors and possibly loud noises and big equipment.

We apologize for any inconvenience or distress this may cause.

The purple area on the below map will be closed off Friday and Sat.

The green area is where you should try to park.

If you, your child or someone you know has worked with a speech language pathologist (SLP), please consider reading this. SLP codes (how we bill for our services) are slated to change in 2027. Our main code (92507) for speech and language therapy is going to divide into several different codes. Which on the surface doesn't seem like a bad idea (except they neglected to add codes for some specific treatment areas). The issue is that with the new codes comes new values assigned to our new codes. These values are used my CMS and most insurance companies to determine our reimbursement rates. Most insurance contract rates have not increased in the 15+ years we have been billing insurance. With the proposed values and the way these codes are shaping up, most practices will face up to 30% cut in reimbursement. This will not be sustainable for most practices. This means practices will start cutting insurance contracts which will leave more families seeking providers that accept their insurance. This is a challenging situation for practice owners. We want to continue to be able to be in network with insurance companies but most practices won't be able to sustain operations with these reimbursement cuts. If you have a few minutes to speak up about how an SLP and their services has positively impacted your life, please do! We need all voices to speak out.
