This beautiful poem was created on April 28th with the help of Pat, the daughter of our late resident Vern. It was inspired by the friendship between Vern and fellow resident John Kim, who had many meaningful conversations together.

A light wind carries you
Floating like apple blossom petals.
White and gentle in the spring time air.
You did not die.

At Blue Bell Place, staying active and healthy comes in many forms! In honor of Senior Health & Fitness Day, we’re celebrating all the wonderful opportunities our residents have to support their wellness every day. From our daily exercise routines to monthly sessions with Dr. Wade from FOX Rehab and relaxing yoga classes with our amazing instructor Yen, there’s always something to keep the mind and body moving.

Today, Chef Lonny led a great 360Well discussion about the importance of protein in our diets. Residents enjoyed sampling a variety of protein bars while also learning about healthier, natural food sources of protein and how nutrition plays such an important role in overall wellness. Here’s to healthy living at every age! 💪❤️

Creativity was flowing at Blue Bell Place yesterday! 🎨🪨

Residents had so much fun using paint pouring techniques on rocks to create beautiful one-of-a-kind designs. Each rock turned into its own colorful masterpiece with swirls, patterns, and vibrant combinations that were as unique as the artists themselves.
