We're excited to share continued progress on UHD's new in-house MRI suite!

Construction is moving along nicely, with crews recently completing the floor reinforcement needed to support the new MRI system. They are now finishing up the wall framing, and the space is quickly taking shape.

These behind-the-scenes photos highlight the transformation underway as we prepare to bring advanced MRI services closer to home for our patients and community. This investment will improve access, convenience, and the overall patient experience right here at United Hospital District.

Parking Update: New Lot Now Open!

Our new parking lot at UHD's Blue Earth location is officially open and ready for patient and visitor use!

As part of the next phase of our campus improvement project, our main parking lot is now closed for approximately two weeks while renovations are completed.

Please review the parking map and follow posted signage when arriving. Staff will be available to assist with directions as needed.

Important Parking Update for Our Blue Earth Location!

Beginning tomorrow, Monday, August 17, our main parking lot will be temporarily closed for approximately two weeks as work continues on improvements to our campus parking areas.

During this time, patients and visitors should use the designated parking areas shown on the attached map. Our newly completed parking lot will also open Monday morning, providing additional parking during the closure.

Please follow posted signage when arriving on campus and allow a little extra time to reach your destination. UHD staff will also be available to help direct patients and visitors as needed.

We appreciate your patience and understanding as we continue making improvements to enhance parking, accessibility, and convenience across our campus.

Parking Lot Expansion Update

Things are really starting to take shape!

Today, crews completed striping of our new parking lot, putting us one step closer to expanding parking capacity on the UHD campus.

Beginning Monday, patients and visitors will be able to use the new parking lot as we begin renovations to our main parking lot. The main lot will be closed for approximately two weeks while improvements are completed.

Thank you for your patience as we continue investing in our facilities and creating a better experience for our patients, visitors, and staff.

United Hospital District is proud to recognize four UHD employees who were recently honored with the Life Save Award for their actions during a medical emergency involving Tom Juba.

Ambulance crew members Olivia Hoffmann and Tammy Davis responded to the emergency, while fellow UHD employees Ted Armon, who was nearby, and Raina Juba, a family member of Tom’s, provided assistance until the ambulance arrived.

We also want to recognize the UHD Emergency Department team who continued Tom’s care at the hospital, along with the officers, dispatchers, firefighters, first responders, and everyone who played a part in the lifesaving response.

In communities like ours, looking out for one another is simply what we do. This response is a powerful example of people coming together when it mattered most, and helping give Tom another tomorrow.

Congratulations to all of the Life Save Award recipients on this well-deserved recognition, and thank you for being there when your community needed you most.
