Welcome to The Whole Health Center – a small, relaxed, homey setting, valued by its many clients for over thirty years for providing a natural and nurturing approach to whole health and personal and spiritual growth. Our groups, classes, retreats and workshops also offer a depth of integration and a wealth of practical tools to support the enlightened evolution of self and society.

As meditators, we may have less or more familiarity with Buddhism's foundational teachings; and we may take inspiration from them. But we may be missing out on their full ability to support and strengthen our practice.
For the dharma teachings are not only inspiring philosophy.

They are an incredibly precise, secular, and scientific guideline for transformation; and a support for meditation that can be as intimate and valuable as our next breath.

In this retreat we will learn to examine and to utilize:
*the practical significance of such basic teachings as 'The Four Noble Truths,' 'The Eightfold Path,' and 'The Four Boundless States;' a new natural and practical application of the principles of 'mudra, "mantra,' and 'mandala;'
and a non-dual understanding of 'Taking Refuge'.
We will apply them as a technical support system for orienting, focusing and deepening our sitting meditation and our everyday life practice.
