There are two very important pieces of liturgy that we use to remember our loved ones: the El Malei prayer and the Kaddish.

The El Malei prayer asks us to imagine as if the Holy One has enormous wings that the souls of our loved ones are tucked in tight under, and that God is sheltering them and taking care of them in their last part of their journey.

The words of the Kaddish prayer do not speak of death or loss, but ask us to give thanks to God simply for the gift of life and to acknowledge the greatness of all of the wonder and miracle that we experience in life.

We have the facilities and an in-house caterer who will handle everything for you from start to finish. For anyone who is facing a terminal diagnosis, whether for themselves or a loved one, the word “hospice” connotates that a life will soon be coming to an end. It is a powerful and often frightening word and may invoke a plethora of emotions for everyone involved. However, if we are faced with that decision when there is no other choice, hospice is one of the most valuable options that is available to all of us and our families.
