Your baby’s position can change throughout pregnancy! 🤍

From occiput anterior and posterior to breech, transverse, and oblique, the way your little one is positioned can play an important role in your labor and birth experience.

As a midwife, I love helping moms feel informed and confident as they prepare for birth. I often recommend exploring Spinning Babies techniques, prenatal chiropractic care, and acupuncture to support comfort and encourage optimal fetal positioning, although these methods aren’t guaranteed to turn your baby.

Remember, your baby is growing, moving, and finding their way into the world. Every pregnancy is different, and there’s no one-size-fits-all approach to birth.

Save this post for later, and chat with your midwife about your baby’s position as your due date approaches!

Some families just hold such a special place in your heart. 💓

This was baby #3 for this beautiful family, and I’ve had the honor of delivering both babies #2 and #3. Over the years, our lives have become intertwined in so many ways. It truly feels like one of those families I was meant to know. I’m so grateful they’ve continued to trust me to care for them through such important chapters of their lives.

Getting to watch their family grow—and play a small part in bringing their babies into the world—is something I’ll never take for granted. 🤍

As a midwife, I spend so much of my time reminding women that understanding your body is part of caring for it. 🤍

September brings awareness to so many topics that touch women at every stage of life—from reproductive and sexual health to PMOS, perimenopause, ovarian cancer awareness, and healthy aging.

My hope is always that you feel informed, supported, and comfortable asking questions about your health. You deserve to understand what’s happening in your body.

Your period shouldn’t put your life on pause 💗

Some cramping during your menstrual cycle can be normal—but severe period pain that keeps you from work, school, exercise, sleep, or everyday activities deserves attention. Painful periods can sometimes be associated with conditions like endometriosis, fibroids, or adenomyosis.

If you find yourself planning your life around your period every month, talk to your OB-GYN. We can help narrow down the cause and find a treatment plan that helps you feel like yourself again.

Save this for your next cycle & share it with someone who needs the reminder 💌

A 5K, a newborn, and a moment that captured motherhood so beautifully 🤱🏃‍♀️💗

One mama is making headlines after bringing her newborn along for a 5K and stopping mid-race to breastfeed—and as midwives, we can’t help but love what this moment represents.

Motherhood doesn’t always wait for the perfect time or place. Sometimes, it looks like listening to your baby, trusting your body, and meeting their needs right in the middle of everything else.

Every postpartum journey is different, but there’s something so special about seeing a mama honor both herself and her baby. 🥹

Send this to a mama who deserves a little reminder of just how incredible she is. 💕

Every birth story is different—and sometimes that includes an induction🤍

In this episode of Make Women’s Health Make Sense, I’m breaking down when labor inductions are recommended, what the process looks like, and what you should know before making decisions about your care.

Save this for later and share it with an expecting mama who is curious about the various options for induction and what that can look like. The more we know, the less scary these procedures can be. 🤰🏻
