π§ π Lived Experiences Heard: Real Voices, Real Change
Today is World Mental Health Day, and we're reminded that the most powerful stories are the ones told by people who have lived them.
Behind every statistic is a person.
A parent who got through a hard year. A student who found the courage to ask for help. A friend who said "me too" at exactly the right moment.
When we listen to lived experience, stigma shrinks, care improves, and people feel less alone.
β¨ Listen without rushing to fix.
β¨ Share your story only when and if you're ready.
β¨ Believe people when they tell you how they feel.
β¨ Check in with someone today, and mean it.
Your voice matters. Your story matters. And change begins when we make room for both.
If you're struggling, you don't have to carry it alone. In the US, you can call or text 988 (Su***de & Crisis Lifeline) any time, day or night.
