🚩 RED FLAGS WHEN CHOOSING A PLASTIC SURGEON OR COSMETIC CLINIC 🚩

Your safety should always come before a bargain.

Before booking your procedure, watch for these warning signs:

❌ You meet your surgeon for the first time on the day of surgery.
A proper consultation allows time to discuss goals, risks, alternatives, recovery, and determine whether surgery is right for you.

❌ They are willing to operate even when you are not medically optimized.
Good surgeons sometimes say “not yet.” Whether it’s smoking, uncontrolled medical conditions, obesity, or other risk factors, patient safety comes first.

❌ They try to switch surgeons at the last minute.
The surgeon you researched, met, and trusted should be the surgeon performing your procedure.

❌ The price seems too good to be true.
Quality surgical care involves highly trained surgeons, qualified anesthesia providers, accredited facilities, experienced staff, and appropriate follow-up care.

When prices are dramatically lower than everyone else, ask yourself:
• Where are costs being cut?
• Who is performing the procedure?
• Who is administering anesthesia?

✨Today is World Lipedema Day, and it feels like the perfect time to share my story.

I’m not only a lipedema surgeon—I’m also a lipedema patient.

Like many women with lipedema, I manage this disease every single day. I understand the frustration, discomfort, heaviness, swelling, and emotional toll that can come with feeling like your body isn’t responding the way it should.

I also chose to undergo lipedema surgery myself to help improve my symptoms and the appearance of my legs. It was one of the best decisions I made for my health, confidence, and quality of life. It truly changed my life.

That personal experience drives my passion for helping other women navigate their own lipedema journey with compassion, understanding, and expert surgical care.
