More than 100,000 older adults across the country celebrate National Senior Health & Fitness Day each year, and our residents at Sinai Residences were proud to join in the fun!

Residents laced up their sneakers and hit the ground walking during our “Walk on the Wild Side” event, led by our incredible Fitness Team. Each participant received a pedometer and tracked their steps as they enjoyed a morning of movement, motivation, and friendly camaraderie.

There was plenty of energy, enthusiasm, and exercise to go around—and our residents did an amazing job! We're proud to celebrate healthy, active living at every age. 👟💙🌴

Our Sinai Residences residents recently enjoyed a delightful outing aboard the Lady Atlantic Boat Ride in Delray Beach! 🚤☀️

As they cruised along the beautiful waterways, residents took in the scenic views, shared laughter, and created meaningful memories together. The relaxing atmosphere provided the perfect opportunity to connect, socialize, and enjoy each other’s company while experiencing the charm and beauty of the coast.

It was truly a wonderful day filled with smiles, sunshine, and special moments! 💙

Please join us in congratulating Nesha Douse on her well-deserved promotion from Lead Server to Dining Room Manager! 👏

Nesha began her journey at Sinai Residences in June 2021 as a server and was promoted to Lead Server in June 2022. Through her hard work, dedication, and commitment to excellence, she has continued to grow within our dining team, and we are thrilled to see her step into this new leadership role.

As Dining Room Manager, Nesha will help oversee dining operations on the East Campus alongside Oneil Black. Nesha’s primary focus will be The Oasis Cafe, while Oneil will oversee The Epicurean. Together, they will work closely to support daily dining operations and continue delivering exceptional service to our residents.

Last week, we proudly celebrated the incredible nurses who bring compassion, strength, skill, and humanity to healthcare every single day. 💙

At Sinai Residences, our nurses do far more than provide clinical care. They comfort, advocate for, encourage, listen to, heal, and create meaningful connections with residents and families during some of life’s most important moments. Their presence brings reassurance. Their dedication brings hope. Their hearts make all the difference.

Nursing is a profession and a calling rooted in service, empathy, and resilience. Every interaction matters, and our nurses consistently demonstrate what it means to care for others with dignity, excellence, and compassion.

To all of our nurses across the Health Center, Assisted Living, and Memory Care neighborhoods: thank you. LAG B’OMER CELEBRATION!

This week, more than 40 Sinai residents from Independent Living came together to celebrate Lag B’Omer with two beloved traditions — archery and s’mores by the fire!

The highlight of the day was watching everyone reconnect with their inner child. Some residents reminisced about summers at camp or archery classes from their college days, while others proudly picked up a bow and arrow for the very first time. With encouragement from fellow residents and plenty of laughter along the way, the afternoon was filled with joy, friendship, and unforgettable memories.

As Rachel states herself, this job was her calling from a young age, and she continues to prove why with her leadership, passion and kindness.
