From neighbors to lifelong friends 💙

Sometimes the best friendships begin when you least expect them! Three residents who moved into Sinai around the same time quickly went from strangers to friends, discovering a special bond that has grown into a wonderful friendship.

Now they’re off on a two-week cruise together! 🚢 The ladies flew into Montreal and are making their way back home, creating unforgettable memories along the way.

They shared that they’re having the best time together and are so thankful that Sinai brought them into each other’s lives.

It’s a beautiful reminder that Sinai is more than a place to call home. It’s a place where friendships begin. ✨

Our Annual Senior Health & Wellness Fair was a success! 🌿

Earlier this month, we welcomed residents and local service providers for a morning dedicated to healthy living, education, and community connection.

With 26 vendors on site, residents had the chance to learn about the latest services designed to enhance their quality of life, get moving with some exercise, and even win raffle prizes! 🎉

A heartfelt thank you to all the participating vendors, our dedicated staff, and our wonderful residents for making this event possible. 💙

There may not be fall foliage here in Florida, but it's still the season to celebrate the harvest with the Jewish holiday of Sukkot, and our Sinai residents celebrated in style! 🍂

This past week, residents from across our community gathered in the Sukkah to share meals, shake the lulav and etrog, recite special prayers, and simply enjoy each other's company.

A big thank you to our Activities Department for hosting Pizza in the Hut and Sweets in the Sukkah! 🍕🍰

A Beautiful New Torah Cover for the High Holidays 🕊️

On September 4, in preparation for the High Holiday season, Rabbi Tract dedicated a beautiful new white Torah cover during Shabbat Services. The cover was lovingly donated by Sinai resident Bilha Ron in deep and enduring memory of her beloved husband, Sam, and handcrafted by Bobbie Adamovic. We are so grateful to both of these women, who gave of their hearts and hands to benefit our community.

As we carry the spirit of these sacred days into the new year, we share the prayer offered that day before the open ark:

"During this holiday season, may we open our hearts to change. Give us the courage to release what we must leave behind, the wisdom to learn from the year that has passed, and the strength to walk forward into the year ahead with faith and hope. May this white Torah cover be a symbol of the purity we seek, the forgiveness we offer, and the new beginnings You place before us. And may the memory of Sam Ron always be a blessing — an enduring light of love, strength, generosity, and faith for Bilha, their family, and all who knew him. May we observe these sacred days renewed in spirit, strengthened by Torah, and guided by Your light. Amen."

West Boca Medical Center Visits Sinai Residences! 🏥

This month, Rachel Blumberg, President & CEO of Sinai Residences, and Jerad Hanlon, President & CEO of West Boca Medical Center, joined our Town Hall. It was a great example of our growing partnership and our commitment to enhancing care and support for our residents.

Jerad introduced several of West Boca's key physicians and shared new patient-centered care initiatives underway at the hospital. Residents shared their feedback and asked questions during a lively Q&A.
