May and Mental Health Awareness Month may be ending, but the conversation isn’t. Keep learning. Keep listening. Keep asking for help when you need it. Keep showing up for yourself and others. 💚📚

A few pages a day can be a powerful form of self-care.

I recently read Shuggie Bain and wow! It is a heart-wrenching exploration of addiction, unconditional love, and sexuality set against the backdrop of 1980s working-class Glasgow. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ from me!

It’s a long weekend for me. My tendency is to fill it with more activity, more doing- chores, outings, etc. But then I end up feeling like a need a weekend after my weekend. Instead, I am going to be very intentional with my time and prioritize some quiet time. I plan to spend time outside and I am going to start a new book.

I recently finished The Hate U Give. Wow! It’s a young adult novel that people of all ages should read. It explores the consequences of systemic racism, police brutality, and the power of finding your voice.

What are your plans this weekend?
