💕 A little personal update from me…
For those of you who have been following along in my journey, you know that I am now a loud n proud 9-year breast cancer survivor! 💪🎀 n I’m even more proud to be able to use my experience to encourage other women who may be walking their own breast cancer journey. Being a breast cancer survivor has given me a perspective on life that I carry with me every single day. It has reminded me to cherish the little things, never take a healthy day for granted, and appreciate the people who walk beside us through the difficult seasons. This chapter may have brought another surgery, but it does not change the story.
✨I am still here. I am still fighting. I am still healing. And I am still incredibly grateful. 🎀
Along the way, I’ve experienced some complications with my breast reconstruction n have recently undergone my 4th breast surgery.
Today marks 1 week post-op, and thankfully, I’m recovering well, spending a little extra time in my Jammies, enjoying my coffee, and taking this time to rest, heal, n being spoiled by my amazing family☕️🩷
I’m hoping to have the rest of my drains removed tomorrow, and if all continues to go well, I’m looking forward to being back in the office n seeing all of my beautiful patients in just a couple of short weeks! 💉
To everyone who has checked on me, called, texted, sent meals, sent flowers, kept me in your prayers, or simply reminded me that you’re thinking of me — thank you from the bottom of my heart. Your love n support have meant more to me than I can put into words. 🥰
I’m so incredibly grateful for each n every one of you, n I can’t wait to see your beautiful faces again soon🙏
Until then, I’m resting, healing, and counting down the days until I’m back where I belong — taking care of all of you. ✨
With love,
Cindy 🩷🎀
