Something powerful is coming Tuesday. ๐Ÿ‘€

A new episode of Imperfectly Human is dropping with Anthony Simonetti, where we talk about resilience, mental strength, and how the moments that shape us can help us become stronger.

You wonโ€™t want to miss this conversation.

๐ŸŽ™๏ธ Listen Tuesday on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, and YouTube.

Are you willing to grow? Wishing for things to change and doing so things can change are very different actions! One is passive and one is active! For change to happen you have to be willing and all in. Comment โ€œall inโ€ if youโ€™re willing to make changes to grow.

You are not going to want to miss Tuesday's episode. ๐Ÿ™Œ

I had such a great conversation with Anthony Simonetti about how our childhood experiences shape us, what it really takes to build mental strength, and why being flexible when life doesn't go as planned can change everything.

There are so many great takeaways in this one, and I can't wait for you to hear it.

๐ŸŽ™๏ธ Full episode drops Tuesday on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, and YouTube.

What's one thing life has taught you about being resilient?

Rachel Sobel opens up about one of the most frightening parts of surviving an abusive relationship.

She shares that the memory of being strangled still gives her chillsโ€”and learning years later that strangulation is one of the strongest predictors of intimate partner homicide put that experience into an entirely new perspective.

Some warning signs should never be minimized.

One of the biggest takeaways from my conversation with Rachel Sobel was the importance of being a safe place for our kids.

I want my children to know they can call me anytime, no matter what. If they're in a situation where they don't feel safe, my first job is to get them homeโ€”not to lecture them.

There will be time for conversations later.

Because more than anything, I want them to know that no mistake is bigger than their ability to come to me.

Jonas Vingegaard was sitting second overall in the Tour de France when one crash ended his race.

A fractured collarbone. Surgery.
And suddenly, the event he had spent months preparing for was over.

This is the part of athletic injury people often miss.

It isnโ€™t only the physical pain.

Itโ€™s the disappointment.

The loss of control.

The sudden change in routine.

And the pressure to immediately start thinking about recovery and what comes next.

But you donโ€™t have to solve your entire future while youโ€™re still processing what happened.

Start with one question:
โ€œWhat do I need today?โ€
Not next month. Not next season. Today.

Maybe itโ€™s rest. Maybe itโ€™s support. Maybe itโ€™s permission to be angry or disappointed without forcing yourself to โ€œstay positive.โ€

Recovery starts by dealing with where you actually are and not where you think you should be.

Rachel Sobel shares why healing didn't truly begin until she acknowledged what had happened.

"There was so much shame, confusion, and self-doubt that I questioned everythingโ€”even myself."

It wasn't until her therapist encouraged her to name her experience that something shifted.

You can't heal what you refuse to acknowledge.

Owning your story isn't about staying stuck in the past. It's about giving yourself permission to move forward.

Montee Ball doesn't shy away from one of the darkest moments of his life.

He openly shares how years of excessive drinking led to a violent incident, his arrest, and watching Super Bowl 50 from a jail cell instead of celebrating with his former team.

Rather than making excuses, he takes responsibility for his actions and speaks candidly about the consequencesโ€”and the work it took to rebuild his life.

One of the things I appreciated most about my conversation with Montee Ball was his willingness to take accountability without losing compassion.

People make mistakes. Addiction can lead to choices that hurt ourselves and others. That doesn't excuse the behaviorโ€”but it also doesn't mean the story ends there.

Recovery includes honesty, accountability, and the courage to have difficult conversations.

Montee Ball shares how addiction didn't begin overnightโ€”it followed him through every stage of his career because he never addressed it.

From college to the NFL, the pressure only grew. More expectations. More stress. More access. But very little space to talk about mental health.

His story is a powerful reminder that success doesn't erase struggles. If we don't deal with what's underneath, it often follows us wherever we go.
