🍂 Mommy & Me is back for a cozy fall session! 🎃🤎

Spend a special morning learning, playing, and connecting together! Our Mommy & Me sessions are designed for little ones ages 2–4 to spend quality time with mom, make new friends, learn new things, and become part of a welcoming community. 🫶🏼

📚 Part 1 | 10:00–10:30 AM
We’ll enjoy an engaging, SLP-focused session with reading, singing, movement, and early language learning through play and interaction.

🎃 Part 2 | 10:30–11:30 AM
It’s time to create, play & sip! Little ones can explore our fall-transformed room with hands-on activities including:
🍂 Pumpkin Patch — pick & color your own pumpkin
🥕 Farmers Market — pick & color fruits & veggies
🧡 Fall Sensory Bin — create your own sensory bin to take home

☕️ And something special for the moms!
During Part 2, RiSK Kofe will be popping up with fresh lattes made to order right on the spot. Coffee samples will be provided so you can taste before purchasing your latte! 🤎 RiSK Kofe

This session is about more than activities—it’s a chance to spend meaningful quality time together, encourage your little one’s development, meet other moms and children, make new friends, and be part of a community. 🌿

✨ Let’s talk developmental milestones! ✨

When we talk about a milestone, we’re referring to a skill that approximately 90% of children are expected to have achieved by a certain age. This is different from the average or midpoint performance, which represents what approximately 50% of children are able to do at that age. 🧠💬

Understanding this difference is important! Milestones can give parents, caregivers, and professionals a helpful guide for following a child’s development and recognizing when a little extra support may be beneficial. 💙

And remember that development isn’t a competition! Children learn and grow at different rates, and one skill doesn’t tell us the whole story. We look at the child’s communication skills and development as a whole. 🌈

Have questions or concerns about your child’s speech and language development? A pediatric speech-language pathologist can help you better understand where your child is and determine whether additional support may be helpful. 🗣️✨
