Birth trauma doesn’t always look like 40 hours of labor or weeks in the NICU.
Sometimes it looks like a C-section everyone called “routine.” A vacuum used for just 30 seconds. A labor that happened so fast you barely had time to process it. Or a birth where everything looked fine on paper, but you walked away feeling like something wasn’t right.
And sometimes, it’s not until weeks, months, or even years later that you start asking questions.
Why is my baby struggling with feeding or reflux? Why is sleep so difficult? Why does my child have such a hard time calming down?
While these struggles can have many different causes, your child’s birth story is an important piece of their health history that deserves to be heard.
At Living Water Chiropractic, we believe understanding the whole story matters, starting with pregnancy and birth.
Because a birth doesn’t have to be labeled traumatic for it to have been a stressful experience for mom or baby. 🤍
