Although cancer is often overwhelming and stressful, it was an honor to help this wonderful patient with facial reconstruction, which included a pedicled forehead flap. It's always heart warming to see my patient's fear replaced with a confident smile (and in this case witty comebacks) as the healing process nears its end.
