šŸ’¬ Small conversations can make a BIG difference in your child’s communication develop

Language learning doesn’t require special equipment or extra hours in the day. Simple moments like reading together, singing songs, asking questions, and giving your child time to respond can help build strong communication skills.

✨ Try these 5 easy strategies this week:
• Talk throughout the day about what you’re doing
• Read together every day
• Sing songs and nursery rhymes
• Ask simple questions during play
• Give your child time to respond

Remember: Every word, sound, gesture, and attempt to communicate is worth celebrating! ā¤ļø

What is your child’s favorite book, song, or activity right now? Let us know in the comments! šŸ‘‡

After more than 20 years of dedicated service, Sam is retiring. She has made a lasting impact through her compassion, leadership, and genuine care for others. Her passion for helping children and supporting those around her has touched countless families, coworkers, and clinicians throughout the years.

Sam has always led with kindness, generosity, patience, and integrity, creating an environment where people felt welcomed, supported, and encouraged to grow. Her dedication, guidance, and willingness to help others are qualities that will not be forgotten.

While retirement is so well deserved, she will be greatly missed by everyone who had the privilege of knowing and working alongside her. We are wishing Sam nothing but happiness, relaxation, and all the best in this next chapter.

To all families past and current,Ā

We need YOUR help!Ā  We need you to share YOUR story!Ā Ā

If you are willing to help, please do this within the next 24-36 hours.
Ā
The Rotunda at the Capital lastĀ Thursday was a big step forward in the right direction.Ā There were over 200+Ā PT, OT, SLP, and families thatĀ joined atĀ theĀ capitol. There were many good conversations that happened at theĀ eventĀ and we were able to connect with many of our representatives – BUT there is still much work to be done beforeĀ changes willĀ take place. Ā
Ā
Many senators and representatives were still undetermined about the forecast budget changes and current caps on service’s. They could beĀ persuadedĀ to adjust the forecasted budget cuts and even reverse the current caps in place.

TheyĀ specificallyĀ requested: Stories from patients and familiesĀ regardingĀ the importance of our servicesĀ
Ā
This is where we need your help!Ā Please send a 60 sec or lessĀ video to the following representatives, requestingĀ that they repeal and change the direction to cut and limit services, specifically to remove the cap and remove any proposed cuts to the budget.

Attn all our families: There has been a recent update with Medicaid Therapy Limits that is backdated to January 1st. We have sent an email for more information. We have also emailed everyone about how they can respond via phone call & emails with examples of what to say - they should be easy to follow.

Please read & reach out! We also have this at our front desks at each of our clinics. We need the state reps to hear all of our voices! We are working with you and advocating for you! We know these limits will not help kids but drastically and negatively impact access to much needed services and progress. Please share and have others also help do the same! Thank you
