I offer decades of expert, state-compliant caregiving experience, including a background running a Residential Care Facility for the Elderly (RCFE), managing a home care agency, and operating a licensed daycare. Meet Johanna

Hello, I’m Johanna Thein, founder of Cozy Nook CFH LLC.

I am a mother of seven, a grandmother of 5, a caregiver, a cook, a creator, and someone who believes every person deserves to be treated with dignity and respect.

For more than a decade, I have worked in senior care, home care, and residential care administration. Throughout my career, I learned that quality care is about more than medications and daily tasks. It is about making people feel valued, comfortable, and at home.

As a Filipina, I grew up with a deep respect for elders and a belief that caring for others is one of life’s greatest honors.
Hospitality.
Family.
Good food.
Meaningful connections have always been important parts of my life, and they continue to shape the atmosphere I am creating at Cozy Nook.

My own life experiences have taught me resilience, compassion, and the importance of kindness. They have helped me understand that every person carries a story worth honoring.

Outside of Cozy Nook, I am also building Imagine Solutions LLC, a separate project dedicated to transformation and rebuilding.

Imagine Solutions was created for people who have lived through hardship, loss, or abuse and are ready to rebuild their lives from the inside out. It focuses on turning pain into strength through creativity, journaling, education, and guided personal growth.

One of my favorite ways to care for others is through food. I love cooking homemade meals and creating dishes that bring comfort, conversation, and connection around the table. Food has always been one of my ways of expressing care.

I am also deeply creative. I enjoy crafting, jewelry making, journaling, cooking, and finding small ways to bring warmth into everyday life. Some may describe this as whimsical. I see it as intentional living—creating moments that matter.

At Cozy Nook, CFH, LLC, my purpose for opening this care home is intentional.

I want it to feel less like a facility and more like a home.

A place where residents are treated like people, not tasks. A place where families feel at ease. A place where kindness, respect, good food, meaningful conversation, and genuine care are part of everyday life.

Today, Cozy Nook is being thoughtfully remodeled and prepared with care and intention for the next chapter.

My goal has never been to build just a care home.

My goal is to build a meaningful one.

A Mother’s Day thought from Cozy Nook CFH, LLC
It’s quieter here… but not empty.
It’s in the way someone pauses a little longer over a photograph.
In the way a name is spoken softly, sometimes remembered, sometimes just felt.
In the way hands—once strong enough to carry children, cook meals, and hold families together—now rest gently in ours.

Today isn’t just about celebrating mothers.
It’s about honoring the lives they lived.
The sacrifices no one saw.
The nights they stayed up.
The strength they carried without applause.
And now… it’s our turn.
At Cozy Nook CFH, LLC care is not just a service.
It’s a quiet promise.

That no one is rushed.
