Fall sports season is among us and so is ISMI's Sunday Sports Injury Clinic. 🙌

Starting August 30th, our Board Certified Sports Medicine Physicians will evaluate each athlete on the spot. Same-day X-ray, casting & bracing available. No appointment needed.

We are honored to care for our First Responder community and want to give back to those on the front lines fighting fires across Idaho and Oregon.

We're collecting donations through August 13 and will deliver them directly to designated drop-off locations. Please bring donation items to ISMI before the deadline.

We're collecting:
Bottled water, electrolyte drinks, protein bars, granola bars, trail mix, nuts, beef jerky, individually packaged snacks, body wipes, sunscreen, bug repellant, and gift cards for food and fuel.

We are so glad to welcome Dr. Jonathan Wallace, MD to the ISMI family!

Dr. Wallace joined our team on July 27th as our newest Sports Medicine Fellow for 2026-2027. He comes to us with a background in Human Physiology from the University of Oregon and completed his medical degree at Oregon Health & Science University. Most recently he finished his residency at PeaceHealth Family Medicine in Vancouver, Washington, where he developed a deep passion for sports medicine and helping patients move and feel their best.

When he is not caring for patients, you will find him bicycling, cooking, and taking walks with his wife, new baby daughter, and two pugs. Welcome to Idaho, Dr. Wallace!

ISMI is proud to be partnered with Boise State for 48 years - and counting!

We celebrated the milestone by hosting the BSU athletic training staff and administration at ISMI for an open house.

We were glad to meet new and familiar faces, and make a proper send off for our outgoing fellow.

Farewell, Dr. Holmes.

We are so proud to celebrate Dr. Rok Holmes as he completes his Sports Medicine Fellowship here at ISMI. Rok has been an incredible part of our team and we are grateful for everything he brought to our patients and staff.

He is heading to the Emergency Health Responders Clinic, where he will provide primary care and sports medicine to police officers, firefighters, and EMS teams across the Treasure Valley. We could not think of a better next chapter for him.

Thank you for everything, Rok. You will always be part of the ISMI family.

Heads up, ISMI patients. Parking near our clinic has temporarily changed due to a nearby event.

Monday and Tuesday, parking is available as normal via Bronco Lane.

Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, our lot will be closed. Head to the Alumni and Friends parking lot and look for the ISMI tent. A free shuttle will bring you to our building.

Wednesday and Thursday, you can use University Drive to reach the Alumni and Friends lot.
Friday, University Drive will be closed, use any other road to reach the lot.
