Let me say it loud for all the people in the back:
✨ True safety is felt in the body first, not the mind. ✨
Your nervous system responds to physical cues far more than mental ones.
You can tell yourself to relax all day long, but until your body receives signals that it’s safe enough to soften, your nervous system may continue operating from stress, tension, or survival mode.
This is why learning to tune into your body is so important.
Pause for a moment and notice:
🌬️ Is your breath shallow or restricted? Take a few slow, deep breaths and focus on a long exhale.
😬 Is your jaw clenched? Gently move it side to side and allow it to soften.
🤷♀️ Are your shoulders creeping toward your ears? Roll them back and let them drop.
🫀 Is your chest tight? Place a hand over your heart and breathe into the space beneath it.
These small shifts send powerful messages of safety to the nervous system.
And if your body has been holding stress, tension, pain, or emotional overwhelm for months or years, it may need more support than a few deep breaths.
This is where bodywork can be incredibly powerful.
The healing power of safe, therapeutic human touch is often overlooked.
When you receive bodywork from a skilled, trauma-informed practitioner, your body has an opportunity to experience something many of us rarely allow ourselves:
✨ Rest
✨ Receiving
✨ Softening
✨ Letting go
Clients often report deeper sleep, less physical pain, fewer headaches, reduced stress, greater emotional ease, and a renewed sense of connection to themselves after a session.
Need a reset? 😩
My PRISM Method sessions combine intuitive bodywork, craniosacral therapy, energy work, breathwork, and guided awareness practices to help calm the nervous system, release stored tension, and support your body’s natural capacity for healing.
If your body has been asking for a break, this is your sign. 💆♀️✨
