These are common symptoms of low thyroid function. Yet, I see so many people who are taking thyroid medication and still have these symptoms, despite their labs being normal. Do they just have to live with it? The short answer is no. There is a difference between "normal" labs and optimal labs. There is more to a thyroid evaluation that just the TSH. And there's more than just one medication to treat it. Addressing these other things can be the difference between not feeling normal, and feeling like yourself again.
