🎈 What a morning at the Spirit of Boise! 🎈

This morning I picked up our residents bright and early at 6:45 AM for something many of them may have thought they’d never get the chance to experience — watching the hot air balloons launch at the Spirit of Boise!

We arrived before 7:20, bundled up in our blankets and waited together. Around 7:44, the balloons began taking to the sky, and they continued launching until nearly 9:00 AM. 🎈

Watching those beautiful balloons fill the sky was incredible, but my favorite part was looking around and seeing our residents wrapped in blankets, smiling, taking amazing pictures, laughing, and simply enjoying each other’s company.

This is what life enrichment is all about. ❤️ Making memories possible. Creating opportunities. And helping people experience the things they may have once thought were impossible.

Cold hands, warm blankets, huge smiles, and a morning we won’t soon forget. These are the moments that make it all worth it. ❤️🎈

🚗🏆 WHAT AN AMAZING CAR SHOW! 🥞❤️

Saturday was truly an unforgettable day as Arbor Village and Skyline came together for our Car Show & Pancake Breakfast!

We were blown away by the turnout — more than 50 beautiful cars filled our lot, giving our residents the opportunity to get up close, reminisce, share stories, and enjoy some absolutely incredible vehicles. A very special thank-you to all of the car clubs and individual car owners who came out and made our residents’ day. Seeing their smiles as they walked among the cars was priceless! ❤️

🏆 Six trophies were awarded to some truly deserving vehicles, and our raffle was a huge success with more than 45 amazing baskets given away! There were smiling faces everywhere you looked.

And of course, we couldn’t have a morning like this without breakfast! 🥞 Arbor Village served up an incredible pancake breakfast with pancakes made just the way you like them and toppings including fresh strawberries, blueberries, pecans, chocolate chips and more, along with gluten-free options. Our team loved getting to serve everyone who joined us!

The best part of the entire day was watching our residents enjoy themselves — visiting with our guests, admiring the cars up close, reminiscing about vehicles they once owned, and simply soaking in such a wonderful morning with our community.

A HUGE thank-you to everyone who brought a vehicle, the car clubs who showed up for us, our community members who attended, everyone who participated in the raffle, and especially our incredible staff who worked so hard to make the day happen.

More than 50 cars. Six trophies. Over 45 raffle baskets. Countless smiles. ❤️

Thank you for helping Arbor Village and Skyline create a day our residents won’t soon forget! 🚘🏆🥞

Honoring Our Veterans with Quilts of Valor 🇺🇸

Last Friday was an incredibly special day at Arbor Village. ❤️🤍💙

We had the honor of welcoming Quilts of Valor, who presented five of our veterans with beautiful handmade quilts, each thoughtfully created to honor the individual receiving it.

The care, time, and love put into these quilts was truly remarkable, but what made the afternoon even more meaningful was the way each veteran was recognized and celebrated. Quilts of Valor did an amazing job making every recipient feel seen, appreciated, and honored for their service and sacrifice.

There were smiles, stories, proud moments, and plenty of emotion throughout the room. 🇺🇸

To Quilts of Valor, thank you for giving our veterans such a meaningful experience and for reminding them that their service will never be forgotten.

And to our four veterans: thank you for your courage, your sacrifice, and your service to our country. It was our privilege to celebrate YOU. ❤️🤍💙

Spudman brought the fun to Arbor Village today! Our residents enjoyed great music, lots of smiles, and the perfect way to kick off the weekend. 🍻🎤💃

💦🎈 WATER BALLOON WAR AT ARBOR VILLAGE! 🎈💦

Last week things got a little WILD at Arbor Village at Hillcrest! 😂 Our residents came ready to play, and let’s just say… our Executive Director Jason didn’t stand a chance! 🎯💦

There’s nothing better than getting outside, laughing together, getting a little soaked, and bringing out the kid in all of us. ❤️ These are the moments that make our community so special—fun, friendship, connection, and LOTS of laughter!
