What is an AK?
Actinic Keratosis (AK) are precancerous skin conditions characterized by rough, scaly patches caused primarily by prolonged sun exposure and UV radiation. AKs are very common and more prevalent in people over 40.

How can we prevent from getting them?
• Wear your sunscreen
• Avoid being out in the sun during peak hours
