This weekend I went to St. Louis, Missouri to be a teaching assistant for the NeuroKinetic Therapy level 1 seminar. It was so much fun giving back to the community that has profoundly changed my practice.

Last weekend I traveled to Phoenix, AZ for a Masters level training in the pelvic floor from a perspective. I learned about common pelvic floor issues that people are often hesitant to talk about and how to correct them. Whether you have incontinence (either kind), pain during/after s*x, leakage during exercise, unexplained hip tension or anything in between, I now have the skills to help guide your body back into balance. Seeing the case studies in real time during class blew my mind. Because we used muscle challenge tests, we could clearly see where the patient was weak and then after the correction, where they were stronger. Incredible!

I spent the weekend with an incredible crew of NeuroKinetic Therapists from different career paths-- PTs, chiropractors, physios, trainers, massage therapists. We learned pelvic floor anatomy, perturbation tests, movement corrections, manual therapy and more from the amazing Dr Dooley. I cannot wait to help change my clients lives with these new skills.

How's your body feeling today? What would you improve if you could? I can probably help.
My work looks more like physical therapy than massage but it has more massage than physical therapy does. I use muscle tests, palpation, pattern recognition, orthopedic tests and advanced protocols to figure out why my clients may be feeling less than optimal.
This work is precise but also relaxing.
It is specific but gentle.
I work with all types of bodily dysfunction. From muscle and joint pain, scar release, concussion recovery, headache relief to ligament dysfunction and everything in between. I love what I get to do!
