Katherine Bernice Farris, 67, of Enville, Tennessee, passed away peacefully on May 27, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. Born on August 22, 1958, in Hardeman County, Tennessee, Katherine was the daughter of the late William Burns and Nora Lee Borders Smith.

She was a member of Piney Grove Church of God and retired after many years as a factory worker. Katherine found joy in life's simple pleasures. She loved cooking for her family, caring for her animals, watching television, and spending time with those she cherished most. Her love, kindness, and devotion to her family will be remembered by all who knew her.

She leaves behind her loving daughter, Ashley Farris (Daryl Hart); her brothers, Eugene Burns (Karen) and Jimmy Burns; her sister, Ruby Wyatt; her grandson, Dylan Hart; step-grandchildren, Hope Gladys, Faith Hart, and Samantha Hart; and her great-grandchildren, Madelyn Hart and Harlow Gladys. In addition to her parents, Katherine was preceded in death by her brother, Jerry Burns, and her sister, Louise Hemby.

Katherine's memory will forever live on in the hearts of her family and friends. Though she will be deeply missed, her legacy of love and devotion will continue through the generations she leaves behind. “Those we love don’t go away; they walk beside us every day, unseen, unheard, but always near.”

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Tuesday, June 2, 2026. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m., with funeral services beginning at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel at Hardeman County Funeral Services in Bolivar, Tennessee. Rev. Aaron Moss will officiate the service. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery.

The family has entrusted the care of their loved one to Hardeman County Funeral Services of Bolivar, Tennessee.

It’s with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Mr. Raymond E. White, aged 84, of Decaturville, TN. Mr. White departed this life and went to his eternal home on Wednesday, May 27, 2026, at Henderson County Community Hospital in Lexington, TN. Visitation will be held Thursday, June 4th, 2026, from 12:00 p.m-7:00 p.m., at Freedman Chapel A.M.E. Church. Services will be held on Friday, June 5th, 2026, with viewing from 10:00 a.m. until time of funeral service at 1:00 p.m. at Freedman Chapel A.M.E. Church in Decaturville, TN. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Please keep his family in your thoughts and prayers during this time.

Mr. James Ralph Posey, aged 92, of Parsons, TN, passed away on Friday, May 22nd, 2026, at Henderson County Community Hospital in Lexington, TN. Services will be held on Saturday, June 6th, 2026, with a visitation being held from 11:00 a.m. until time of funeral service at 1:00 p.m., at Temple Worship Center COGIC in Parsons, TN. Burial will follow at Freedman Chapel A.M.E Church Cemetery.

Erin Sue Hartman, 51, of Grand Junction, TN. was called to eternal life on May 11, 2026. Born on January 15, 1975, in Hillsboro, IL. Erin lived honestly, loved totally, helped unreservedly, and protected fiercely. Her passing leaves a void in the hearts that she touched of everyone that ever knew her. Erin’s willingness to help, her selflessness and the joy she found in the smallest things will be so very much missed.
Called to help others as a CNA for thirty years, Erin touched the lives of many bringing dignity and comfort to them. Her care, compassion, patience and love for her patients made her an exceptional care giver. Erin loved reading, fishing and being a mother and grandmother. She enjoyed her new hobby of gardening, the quiet moments and cooking with her family. She always had an ear to listen, a shoulder to cry on and a way to make you laugh. She loved animals and the beauty and wonder of nature.
Erin is survived by her father, aunt, two uncles, two sisters, brother, husband, children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Erin is preceded in death by her grandparents, brother - Jimmy Lang and mother - Penny Lang.
She will be laid to rest at the Grand Junction, TN, cemetery at 1:00PM on Saturday, May 23, 2026. Her life will be celebrated afterward as she lives ever in our hearts which she touched so deeply

October 15, 1967 – May 14, 2026

Danita Wiley McKinnon, age 58, was born on October 15, 1967, to Catherine Mosley and the late Robert Wiley. She departed this life on May 14, 2026, at Jackson Madison County General Hospital, surrounded by her loving family.

Danita accepted Christ at an early age and faithfully served Him throughout her life. She was a loving sister and daughter who cherished time spent with family and friends. Her kindness, warmth, and devotion to those she loved touched everyone who knew her.

She is survived by her cherished mother, Catherine Wiley; her loving siblings, Kimberly S. Allen, Margaret A. Weatherly (Kandace), Robert B. Wiley (Danielle), Ronald C. Wiley, Kevin D. Wiley (Alexus), and Bratasha T. Holmes (James, also known as “Jim”); as well as a host of extended family and friends who will miss her dearly.

Danita was preceded in death by her father, Robert Wiley, and her brothers, Ronald and Kenneth Wiley.

Her life was a blessing, her memory a treasure, and she will be deeply missed.

There will be a visitation held Monday, May 25th, 2026, from 5:00pm-7:00pm, Hardeman County Funeral Services Chapel in Bolivar, TN. A celebration of Danita's life will be held on Tuesday, May 26, 2026, beginning at 12pm. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 10am until service time at New Bethel United Methodist Church in Bethel Springs, TN. Burial will follow in the Community Cemetery. Pastor Bryan Tubbs will officiate the service.
