After 18 years, I will be stepping away from primay care. This was a tough but clear decision based on my health. It is not cancer, not urgent, just needing to reduce exposure. I WILL be working full-time in another capacity, but will not be seeing patients in primary care. I have abundant thankfullness for my patients over the years. To my many coworkers, thank you for shared care and team effort for thousands of patients over the years.
I am excited for this next career chapter!

Masks have been found effective in the spread of germs since the 15th century. This is credited to Baha al-Dawla Razi. Since that time, plagues and epidemics further proved its effectiveness. In the early 1900s began the standard operating procedure during surgery to reduce germ exposure.

Also, you should probably not wear a mask by yourself in your car.

Kennedy APRN:Sun exposure is good for us and too much of a good thing is bad. Sun exposure can cause skin cancer. Some sunscreens block rays "mechanically", some "chemically". Educate yourself below.
