Meet Clinton
Life's problems can overwhelm our sense of stability. Sometimes the feelings that arise from that instability informs our choices and we find ourselves living a life based on reactions instead of living the lives we want. My usual approach for clients is to help them cultivate a grounded and informed sense of who they are and grow their skills for making space for the difficult moments that life inevitably brings us.

My name is Clinton Althaus, I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate in the state of Washington. I graduated from Emporia State University in Kansas and was raised in Dallas Texas. I began cultivating my ability to be with clients by working as a Licensed Massage Therapist for seven years. That work led me to getting my master's degree in Clinical Psychology where I have found more opportunities to help people to feel at home in themselves and the world they live in. I have found my clients have benefited from the application of mindfulness based stress reduction, cognitive behavior therapy, and related client centered approaches to therapy. I am a neuro-divergent person who has experienced disability and those experiences have informed my ability to understand where clients are coming from.

Meet Rose
In my straight forward practice I aim to walk alongside you as you explore your experiences, reconnect with yourself, and move toward a more fulfilling and balanced life. Through body awareness, creative art expression, and curiosity, I aim to support you in developing resilience, finding rhythm, and navigating life changes.

I take a holistic, strengths-based approach to therapy that focuses on the connection between the mind, body, emotions, and lived experiences. I am particularly drawn to somatic and creative approaches to healing, recognizing that sometimes our experiences are difficult to put into words. My background in crisis counseling has strengthened my ability to create safe, nonjudgmental spaces where you can feel comfortable exploring vulnerable experiences at your own pace.

Outside of the therapy room, I enjoy spending time outdoors and challenging myself through adventure. From hiking the Pacific Crest Trail to completing ultramarathons, I have developed a deep appreciation for resilience, perseverance, and finding joy in the process of growth. I bring this same positive, grounded, and compassionate energy into my work.

ABIGAIL ILAR-CORPUZ
MA, LMHCA

I am passionate about helping clients build meaningful, authentic connections—both with themselves and others. My approach is rooted in relational work, where I prioritize creating a space of trust, safety, and vulnerability. I believe that healing happens within connection, and I strive to meet each client with empathy, curiosity, and respect for their unique story.

I integrate evidence-based approaches including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) to support clients in developing insight, emotional awareness, and practical tools for change. My work is collaborative with the client, blending emotional processing with actionable strategies that clients can apply in their own lives. I have a special interest in working with individuals navigating anxiety, grief, and trauma. I also enjoy working with children and adolescents, drawing from my previous experience as an educator to create developmentally appropriate and engaging work.

I view counseling as both a space for reflection and a pathway toward meaningful, practical growth. My goal is to support clients in not only understanding themselves more deeply, but also in creating lasting, values-driven change.
