Residents at Deerfield Ridge Assisted Living enjoyed a special Coffee Connections gathering with students from Appalachian State University, sharing stories and meaningful conversations. A heartfelt thank you to the students for helping bridge generations and reminding us that some of the best friendships begin with a simple conversation!

The residents of Deerfield Ridge had a wonderful time celebrating Oktoberfest with a festive b**r and pretzel social! From cold drinks to warm, salty pretzels, it was an afternoon filled with laughter, good food, and even better company.

Our Deerfield Ridge residents enjoyed another wonderful Lunch Bunch outing, this time at Makoto’s! Great food, plenty of laughs, and time spent together made for the perfect afternoon. Getting out into the community and enjoying new experiences with friends is what makes these monthly adventures so special, and we’re already looking forward to the next one!

A big thank you to Medi Home Health & Hospice for helping us celebrate Dolly Day and treating our team to a delicious cookie cake! We’re so grateful for community partners who bring kindness, smiles, and a little extra fun to Deerfield Ridge. As Dolly says, “If you see someone without a smile, give them one of yours!”

Your generosity helped make the celebration even more special and gave everyone a chance to enjoy good food, laughter, and time together. We truly appreciate your support of our community!

Our residents and team members at Deerfield Ridge turned back the clock for an ’80s-themed Color War as part of our National Assisted Living Week celebration! From friendly competition to dancing and cheering, the day was filled with laughter, friendship, and plenty of ’80s spirit. It was a totally tubular day of making memories together!

Our residents and team members at Deerfield Ridge were shining bright and dancing through the decades during National Assisted Living Week! We traveled back to the 1970s for an afternoon of disco, karaoke, dancing, and plenty of smiles as everyone sang along to favorite hits and showed off their groovy moves. It was a fun-filled celebration that brought back wonderful memories and gave everyone a chance to enjoy the music together!

Our residents and team members had a far-out time celebrating 60s Day during Assisted Living Week with a fabulous flower bar! From choosing their favorite blooms to creating beautiful arrangements, everyone enjoyed a little flower power, creativity, and plenty of smiles. It was a fun way to celebrate together and make the day bloom with wonderful memories!
