Next time you open your inbox or check a notification, notice what your body is doing. Most of us default to holding our breath. That’s a subtle, automatic signal to our nervous system that we’re in danger.

Try this simple 3-step reset before you click:

Pause before touching the screen or opening the app.

Exhale slowly through your mouth, letting your shoulders drop.

Inhale deeply into your belly, giving your body the physical signal that you are safe.

You don’t have to face your daily tasks in fight-or-flight mode. 🌿

Summer can be such a trigger for body image challenges to resurface.

But, remember that you don’t need to change your body, or your mind, before you’re allowed to dip your toes in or go for a swim.

This holds true for a day at the beach or whatever you’re encountering in this season of life.

Drop your shoulders, take a deep breath, and wade right in.

Life In Bloom Therapy has had several different looks over the years.

But, our core has stayed the same. We’re here for you when life‘s transitions have you feeling like your mind and body are not aligned. And we will never stop believing that you deserve a Life In Bloom!

07/08/2026

We are celebrating our birthday this month at Life In Bloom. But, we know all too well that many seasons of life are not about blooming or celebrating.

It’s easy to feel anxious when you’re waiting for things to change. Waiting to conceive. Waiting for your mental health feel steady. Waiting to feel at home in your body again.

But, nature remind us that important growth often happens in silence. Out of sight, long before the fruits of our hard work appear.

This little bee 🐝 doesn’t panic about tomorrow’s harvest, it just tends to the flower right in front of it.

Your task is to bring your awareness back to the present moment. Take one breath, feel the ground beneath your feet, and trust you’re exactly where you need to be.

Save this post for the days when waiting feels a little too heavy to bear.

We live in a culture that expects us to bounce back instantly—whether that’s after having a baby, navigating a major loss, or recovering from burnout.

But nature never rushes. These trees aren’t forcing themselves to move; they’re just responding to the breeze exactly as it comes.

Your action today: Give yourself permission to operate at a slower pace. Take one deep breath and match your exhale to the gentle rhythm of these leaves. You are exactly where you need to be. 🍃✨

Summer can feel fast-paced and full of pressure to keep moving. Let the rhythm of the mountain water be your cue to pause for just 60 seconds.

Here is a quick, 3-step check-in to come back to your body right now:

1. Feel the support: Notice the physical weight of your body being held up by the chair or floor beneath you. Let yourself sink into it.

2. Soften the edges: Unclench your jaw, drop your shoulders away from your ears, and let your belly soften completely.

3. Follow the flow: Take one deep, slow breath. Imagine your exhale washing away some of the mental noise you’ve been carrying today, just like water moving over rocks.

Save this for the next time your nervous system needs a quick breath of mountain air. ⛰️🌊

It’s so easy to spend the entire day living in your head—especially when you’re navigating a heavy season of waiting or trying to fix your relationship with your body.

Let this reel be a cue to check in with your body. Unclench your jaw. Drop your shoulders away from your ears. Take one deep breath into your belly. Your body is the physical house you live in, and right now, it just needs a micro-moment of comfort. What is one small thing you can do to take care of it in this exact moment? 💗🌱

And, it can feel that much more lonely and isolating when you live with other realities that challenge your body image.

Maybe you’re still recovering from disordered eating.

Maybe your brain has neurodivergent tendencies.

Maybe you live with chronic illness symptoms.

Maybe you’re building an LGBTQIA+ family.

You’ve learned how to live in your body, but trying to conceive and facing infertility is a whole other level. Comparison, self doubt, and so many “what if” questions.

At Life In Bloom, we are here to be trusted companion and source of support for your journey through infertility. We believe that no matter where the journey leads, you deserve a safe space to care for yourself.

If you’re curious about getting matched with a therapist who understands and fertility and body image, head to the link in our bio. We’re here, whenever you’re ready.
