Glenbridge Health and Rehabilitation Center Over the years, many changes have occurred, including the name of our facility.

Glenbridge Health & Rehabilitation of Boone, NC, has been a provider of skilled and intermediate nursing services to Watauga county and surrounding communities since 1977. Formerly known as Watauga Nursing Center and most recently as Glenstone Health Care, we are building a bridge to our future with a new name, new facility and new services. In the midst of all our changes, one vital aspect remain

s constant, our commitment to provide high quality care to the residents we serve. In order to provide a comfortable and supportive environment, we offer a variety of programs that strive to meet the needs of individuals who may require our services for rehabilitation or long term care.

Hello,my name is Thacher Penland I'm a singer songwriter that just turned 33 on june 12th of this year.I fell 30' off of a bridge and broke 6 bones in my body that effected all my left side. After the couple weeks in the hospital I was informed I needed physical therapy for my broken leg, an arm and shoulder with the 3 places in my pelvis that broke. When I got here I felt comfortable and was greeted with respect, as I was unable to walk. Ever nurse has been willing with a open heart to help me. One nurse named Larry Stout especially from just being there to help me, being a considerate and anauthentic individual to talk too as a friend, for I have been though a lot and have not had anyone to just talk to. Everyone at Glenbridge that has been with me on this recovery road I thank you all and hope you enjoy this song I recorded from my gratitude!
