You remind me of the days in Vermont when I used to go on hikes and just enjoy being outdoors on my days off! I still enjoy it but now I enjoy it with you and Zahira.

We have lived in Frederick for 4 years now and now with 2 kids we love being able to check out the wonderful local libraries the county has to offer.
Today we got to check out the one in Thurmont. The kids loved it and we didn’t know they have a trail around the as well. And we had to feature Zahira since she’s really into books now. She enjoyed herself a lot.

It’s November my favorite month! Not because I was born but just my favorite holiday. So sorry Christmas is super nice but Thanksgiving is my favorite! And plus when my birthday falls on thanksgiving which I believe will be next year!
So yeah grateful for and her time to take our pictures. Having a one year old not cooperate isn’t easy.

Happy birthday to you sweet and spunky Zahira.
You bring us so much joy and keep us busy just like your brother.
I can’t believe it’s been a year already. I’m grateful that a year ago God allowed me to give birth to you at home in good health. Crazy to think that after I had to be rushed to the hospital because of so much blood loss. Thankfully God said you are staying here to watching babygirl grow up. So here we are celebrating you today! We love you.

My sweet girl, I love that you enjoy books as much as your brother.
We have books for both of them in their bedrooms and in the living room.
We make it accessible to them and make sure it’s appropriate for their age.
A plus is she enjoys books her brother had and some new ones too.

Today we dedicated you to the Lord. We are blessed to have you part of our family a gift from the Lord. As Pastor Leo mentioned we aren’t alone in raising you in the truth. We have the church to help us. And we can testify that we have already seen that with you your brother Zackary and now with you. I love how you love to clap your hands now and when you hear worship songs you worship. I can’t wait to see what God has in store for you.

It’s the small things that mean a lot. So walk around the neighborhood makes Zack happy because he gets to see his favorite construction vehicles. Plus I love being able to take them in the wagon together now!
