Wellness isn't productivity.
It's easy to fall into the habit of measuring our days by what we accomplished, how much we checked off the list, or how busy we were.
But our worth has never been determined by our output.
Our bodies need periods of both activity and recovery. Rest isn't the opposite of wellness—it's an essential part of it. It's during times of rest that our bodies repair, adapt, and rebuild.
As summer begins to slow and the pace of fall approaches, consider giving yourself permission to pause.
Not because you've earned it.
Not because you've finished everything.
Simply because you're human.
Take a moment to reflect:
What would change if you stopped measuring your wellness by how productive you were?
