Our residents had the BEST time celebrating A Special Summer Christmas thanks to our friends at the Warrick Saddle Club!

They made sure every resident had gifts to open and also surprised the facility with new games, puzzles, and activities for everyone to share! Then came the most unexpected Christmas guest we’ve ever had: Christmas Cramer, the pet skunk! He was stink free, very well behaved, and definitely a hit!

We are incredibly grateful for the time, generosity, and kindness the Warrick Saddle Club shared with our residents today. Community support like this means so much to all of us at Transcendent Healthcare North. Thank you to everyone at the Warrick Saddle Club for giving our residents the sweetest Summer Christmas and for making our residents feel so loved and remembered. ❤️

Today was a special afternoon at Transcendent Healthcare North as we welcomed Honor Flight of Southern Indiana for a ceremony recognizing the veterans in our care.

We were honored to recognize three of our U.S. Army veterans:

🇺🇸 Donald Persinger
🇺🇸 Paul Roberts
🇺🇸 Joe Clarke, who was unable to be with us in facility today but was proudly honored in his absence.

Family members joined us as each veteran was recognized for his service and presented with a certificate of appreciation and special gifts.

Caring for those who once served and sacrificed for our country is a privilege we never take lightly. Today gave us the opportunity to gather together and make sure these gentlemen heard were remembered for their service.

A very special thank you to Honor Flight of Southern Indiana for taking the time to come to our facility and create a meaningful experience for our veterans. We are incredibly grateful for community partnerships like these and the work they do to ensure our veterans continue to receive the recognition and appreciation they deserve.

To Don, Paul, and Joe: we are proud to care for you, grateful to know you, and deeply thankful for your service to our country. 🇺🇸❤️💙

Community is at the heart of everything we do and we’re proud to support organizations that make a difference right here in Warrick County.

Yesterday, as part of our National Make Someone Smile Week initiative, we were honored to donate chips and soda to the Warrick County Council on Aging, Inc / Warrick County Senior Citizens Center for their Purse Bingo fundraiser happening tonight, Saturday, July 25!

The Senior Center is an incredible resource for our community that provides a place for older adults to socialize, enjoy educational and exercise classes, participate in game days, and access transportation to medical appointments and the grocery store. As a nonprofit organization, these programs are made possible through the generosity of our community and fundraising events like tonight’s Purse Bingo.

They still have tickets available, so if you’re looking for a fun night out while supporting a great cause, stop by! Doors open at 4:30 p.m. and bingo begins at 6:00 p.m.

We at Transcendent Healthcare North are grateful for the opportunity to partner with the Warrick County Senior Citizens Center and support the important work they do for older adults throughout our community. Good luck to everyone playing tonight! 💙

A big thank you to Justine and Anna from Heritage Hospice for joining us this morning at Transcendent Healthcare North to host a fun penny auction for our residents!

We had a fantastic turnout and residents had a great time bidding on all the wonderful prize options. There was plenty of excitement and friendly competition throughout and everyone loved what they got!

We are so grateful for community partners like Heritage Hospice who help create meaningful and engaging experiences for our residents. Thank you for making the morning so much fun!

As part of National Make Someone Smile Week at Transcendent Healthcare North, our residents spent Tuesday and Wednesday creating handmade bookmarks that were then laminated to donate to the kids in our community who visit the Boonville Bookmobile. Yesterday, we had the privilege to deliver them to our friends on the bookmobile! A special thank you to Miss Kaye and Miss Cathy for everything they do to encourage a love of reading, learning, and kindness throughout our community. We are grateful for the positive impact you make on so many lives and we hope each bookmark brings a little extra joy to a young reader’s next adventure!

It’s National Make Someone Smile Week and we’ve been celebrating here at Transcendent Healthcare North the little ways kindness and positivity can brighten someone’s day! So far, we’ve been spreading a little extra joy through special surprises for our community (keep an eye out as we share those later this week!), as well as our Golden Smile Award voting, where residents and staff are recognizing those who make our home a happier place. Votes will be counted and our winners will be announced this Friday!

Today’s initiative is our Smile Project. We asked some of our residents “What makes you smile?” and we want to share their photos, each paired with their answer, with you, our community, in hopes their answers, whether simple or heartfelt, bring a little smile to your face, too. 💙

Family, friendship, and good company made for a great weekend at Transcendent Healthcare North!

Residents enjoyed visits with family, card and dice games with peers and staff, and plenty of time spent together. Moments like these help strengthen the connections that make our community feel like family and create the sense of belonging we’re proud to share with everyone who walks through our doors.

A few of our residents enjoyed a wonderful outing to Scales Lake this afternoon where we packed up sack lunches, spent time outdoors, and soaked in the beauty of a summer day!

We are grateful for places like Scales Lake that help make these experiences possible. We would like to thank their always amazing staff for their kindness, hospitality, and warm welcome during our visit!

At Transcendent Healthcare North, we believe meaningful experiences extend beyond our walls.
