We’re pleased to announce the publication of “The Impact of Home Parenteral Nutrition on Wound Healing Outcomes: A Case Series.”

The new case series explores the role of Home Parenteral Nutrition (HPN) in supporting patients with chronic, non-healing wounds and highlights the importance of addressing nutritional needs as part of comprehensive wound care.

Nutrition is an essential component of the wound healing process, and HPN can provide critical nutrients when patients are unable to meet their nutritional needs through the gastrointestinal tract.

Pentec Health is excited to be participating in the SAWC Fall 2026 conference, October 15–18, at Caesars Palace, Las Vegas.

We’re looking forward to connecting with wound care professionals and bringing a nutrition focused perspective to the conversation around chronic wound care.

Home Parenteral Nutrition (HPN) provides nutrients directly into the bloodstream through an intravenous catheter when patients are unable to meet their nutritional needs through the gastrointestinal tract. Because wound healing is a metabolically demanding process, adequate nutrition is an important part of supporting tissue repair and recovery.

At SAWC, we’re excited to explore the intersection of nutrition support and wound care and discuss how a nutrition focused approach can complement comprehensive wound management.

We’re also proud to have Logan Abner, MSN, RN, presenting a research poster on October 17.
