When you’re wondering how I diagnosed your child with iron deficiency despite a normal CBC and hemoglobin - its because of low ferritin!! We have had so many kids feeling so much better, sleeping so much better and in much better spirits all because of treating low ferritin levels with iron! Iron deficiency without anemia is much more common than you think! Check out this video for more info!

One of my besties, “Flash” Hanna, semi-conned me into this Blizzard Eating Contest by saying he invited all his favorite people. How do you say no to that? So… tomorrow at 4:30 I’ll be doing my best to make Cade proud and support Children’s Miracle Network. If you’re free, come cheer us on at the Dairy Queen on Mansfield Road, and maybe grab a Blizzard yourself since every sale helps.

Definitely recommend everyone follow Families Helping Families Region 7’s page! So many great resources for your kiddos! Whether its navigating an IEP, making sure you know programs like Tefra exist for those with certain disabilities and in general showing you resources available in our community. Be sure and follow and also contact them if you need help! Things work best when you have a team behind you!

💙 Did you know your child may qualify for Medicaid through Act 421 (TEFRA Option), even if your family’s income is over the usual Medicaid limits? This program may help eligible children with disabilities access the healthcare and services they need.

Yesterday the medical director for FRAT testing was in Dallas and drove to Louisiana to have lunch with me! Its so exciting to be able to learn more and more to help all my crew with Autism and even our PAN/PANDAS crew!
