Nothing brings people together like a great meal! 🍽️ This week, our St. Joseph's Cooking Club served up a classic favorite—crispy fish sticks and golden fries. Residents had a wonderful time preparing, sharing, and enjoying lunch together while creating lasting memories and plenty of smiles.

🌟 Meet Mary! 🌟

After a stay at Boston Medical Center for generalized weakness, Mary came to St. Joseph’s Rehab determined to regain her independence. With the support of our Physical, Occupational, and Speech Therapy teams, she worked hard to rebuild her strength, improve her mobility, and achieve her goals.

Today, Mary is walking independently, tackling stairs, gardening again, and no longer needs her wheelchair. One of her favorite milestones was being able to walk outside and enjoy a St. Joe’s cookout with fellow residents!

Congratulations, Mary, on your incredible progress—we're so proud of everything you've accomplished! 💙

Our residents put their baking skills to work during St. Joseph's Cooking Club, creating delicious lemon-filled biscuits from scratch! 🍋🥐 The kitchen was filled with wonderful aromas, laughter, and plenty of smiles as everyone enjoyed baking together and, of course, tasting the finished treats. It's another great example of how fun, friendship, and creativity come together at St. Joseph's!

Our residents had a fantastic time at St. Joseph’s Indoor Picnic & Fishing Day! We brought the fun indoors with a creative fishing activity, followed by a delicious picnic and plenty of laughter. It was the perfect way to enjoy great company, stay active, and make wonderful memories together—rain or shine!

🌟 Dialysis & Rehabilitation Success Story: Meet Sheila! 🌟

After being admitted to Boston Medical Center with kidney failure, Sheila came to St. Joseph's for short-term rehabilitation and began her dialysis journey.

With the support of our dedicated Physical, Occupational, and Speech Therapy teams, Sheila steadily regained her strength, improved her balance, and achieved one of her favorite goals—walking independently to enjoy Bingo with friends!

An important part of Sheila's recovery was receiving treatment in St. Joseph's on-site Dialysis Den. Having dialysis available right here allowed her to continue participating in therapy while adjusting to her new routine, helping her stay focused on recovery every step of the way.

Today, Sheila is stronger, more confident, and feeling great.
