Today is National Making Life Beautiful Day.

While its origin is tied to a beauty company, I love the broader meaning: beauty is not only something we see. It is something we create.

Sometimes beauty looks like flowers, sunlight, art, or a perfectly timed cup of coffee.

And sometimes it looks like checking in on someone. Holding a boundary. Offering encouragement. Helping someone remember they are not alone. Making space for grief, joy, growth, rest, or hope.

Small acts of care do not have to be extraordinary to matter.

Kindness counts. Connection counts. Helping someone take one more step toward who they are becoming counts.

That’s how we make life a little more beautiful.
