I had the pleasure of being invited to give several lectures on Orthoplastic and Microsurgery topics at the Lower Extremity Symposium in Phuket, Thailand this week. Thank you to the organizers for having me and for organizing such a successful and well attended event from around the globe! I also had a chance to visit several parts of country, including a wholesome visit to an elephant sanctuary.

This past week I had the great pleasure of visiting pioneering microsurgeon Professor Isao Koshima and his team in Hiroshima, Japan. I was invited to give a lecture on super-microsurgery and it’s application in upper extremity reconstruction, with a focus on vascularized bone and vascularized nerve grafts.
