What do you like to do in your free time?

Because it probably isn’t:
→ stressing about where your next referral is coming from
→ constantly posting just to stay visible
→ wondering why clients aren’t finding you

You didn’t start your practice to become a full-time marketer.

You deserve a business that supports your life, not takes from it.

Make it easier for the right clients to find you.

Want more families to actually find your practice online?

One of the easiest places to start is with backlinks!

A backlink is just when another website links back to yours, and Google sees that as a sign that your website is trustworthy and worth showing to more people.

You do not need to be an SEO expert to start building them!!!

A few simple ways include:
•Listing your practice in directories (wink wink 👋)
•Writing guest blogs
•Sharing events or workshops
•Getting featured by local organizations or community resources

These small steps can make a big difference over time when it comes to showing up in search results and helping more families find the support they need.

The SPOT Collaborative is one simple way to start building backlinks while also making it easier for families and professionals to find your practice!

I kept seeing families struggle to find the right therapist.

Not because the right support didn’t exist…but because it was hard to find.

Families were:
• Searching multiple websites
• Asking in Facebook groups
• Not knowing who specialized in what
• Sitting on long waitlists without other options
• Not knowing who served their area

And I kept thinking… there has to be an easier way.

That’s why we created The SPOT Collaborative! To make it easier for families to find speech, occupational, and physical therapists based on specialty, location, service delivery, and more.

Because finding the right support for your child shouldn’t feel overwhelming.

And when the right connections happen,
everyone benefits 🤍

If you’re waiting for referrals to magically roll in… we need to talk…

Referrals aren’t random. They come from the same places—over and over again:
🧠 Other therapists (your real network)
🏫 Schools & educators
💬 Parent word-of-mouth
📍 Online directories (yes, they still work 👀)
📱 Your social media presence

Most therapists aren’t struggling because they’re “bad at marketing”—they’re just not focusing on the channels that actually drive clients.

Pick 1–2 of these and go all in. That’s where momentum happens 💪🏼

Which one are you focusing on right now?

Here are a few things to consider when starting your search! 👀🔎

• Are you looking for support with speech sounds, language, AAC, feeding, social communication, etc.?
• Not all SLPs focus on the same areas. Look for experience that matches your child (AAC, feeding, gestalt language processing, articulation, etc.)
• Insurance vs. private pay. This can impact your options, availability, and wait times
• Service delivery- Are you looking for clinic, in-home, daycare/school, or teletherapy
• Fit is everything 🤍 You want someone your child connects with and that you feel comfortable with, too

This is exactly why we created The SPOT Collaborative! To make it easier for families to find speech therapists based on specialty, location, and more.

Save this for later if you’re starting your search 🤍

Have this toy at home? Here’s exactly how I’d use it to support your child’s communication skills 👇

Here’s what I’m intentionally doing:

• Giving choices (“red ball or blue ball?”)
• Creating verbal routines (“ready, set… GO!”)
• Modeling gestures + fun exclamations (clapping, “yayyyy”
• Using repetitive language and repeating the cycle!
• Staying animated, engaged, and following their lead

This is how we turn everyday toys into communication opportunities 🤍

Save this for later and send it to a toddler parent who needs simple, realistic strategies.
