What a wonderful time connecting with colleagues and friends who share a passion for advancing our field and caring for our patients.

This year’s AAFPRS meeting was filled with opportunities to learn, exchange ideas, and grow together. From sharing experiences and discussing challenging cases to asking thoughtful questions and learning from one another, these conversations remind us how much we gain when we come together with a shared purpose.

One of the coolest parts of what we do is seeing just how far our work reaches. We’re lucky to welcome visiting surgeons from around the world who come to learn alongside our team, while patients travel from across the globe to receive our care.

Reciting the Oath of Maimonides again at today’s White Coat Ceremony was such a meaningful reminder of what a privilege and gift it is to practice medicine. The oath is a beautiful reminder of the responsibility we have to every patient who puts their trust in us.

Thank you, deeply, to every patient who entrusts us with their care. It is an honor that never gets taken for granted. 🩺🥼🤍

Celebrating an incredible 100th anniversary of CORLAS!

A truly special gathering that celebrates not only the science of otolaryngology, but also the international friendships and sense of family that make this field so meaningful.

It was wonderful to reconnect with members of the Harvard family, including Drs. Welling, McKenna, and Stankovic, as well as fellow U.S. colleagues Drs. Harris, Nguyen, Nathan, and St. John. It was equally special to spend time with close international colleagues, including Dr. Henri Marres and Dr. Marcos Goycoolea.

I was also so fortunate to share this memorable meeting with my beautiful mother, Joanne. ❤️

And, of course, it was a pleasure to share our ongoing progress in bionic approaches to facial reanimation with such an engaged and inspiring audience.

Here’s to 100 years of science, friendship, collaboration, and family!
