"What if I'm a bad person?"

For people experiencing moral OCD, intrusive thoughts can create intense doubt, guilt, and fear around their values, ethics, and character. The result is often a relentless search for certainty about being "good enough" or having done the "right" thing.

We're grateful to see moral OCD highlighted in a recent HuffPost article by Jillian Wilson, featuring expert insight from IOCDF Chief Medical Officer Dr. Patrick McGrath.

As Dr. McGrath explains, OCD often targets what matters most to us. In moral OCD, that can mean becoming trapped in cycles of questioning your intentions, decisions, and identity as a person.

Thank you to HuffPost for helping raise awareness and increase understanding of what OCD can really look like!
