I miss this little peach + her parents! Upon arrival every night, I had to remind Telina + her husband to go to bed because we would get caught up chatting. 🤣

I love the relationships I build with my clients, especially in longer term contracts. I would get smiles from their daughter as soon as she saw me once she started social smiles. It truly fills me with joy.

There’s something deeply humbling about this work 💛

Being a doula means living life a little differently — always on call, always ready, always holding space for the unknown. It means missed plans, late-night drives, and dropping everything in a heartbeat when a family needs you most. It’s a sacrifice… but one I make so willingly.

Because the truth is — this work fills my soul in a way nothing else ever has.

To witness strength in its rawest form, to support families in one of the most transformative moments of their lives, to offer calm reassurance and unwavering presence… it is an honor I never take lightly.

This isn’t just what I do — it’s who I am. It’s my purpose.

During World Doula Week, I’m reflecting on how grateful I am to walk alongside the incredible families who trust me with their journeys. The long hours, the unpredictability, the emotional investment — it all comes from a place of deep love and passion for this work.
