Our hearts are with everyone affected by the wildfires in the Spokane area. We are grateful that Fairwinds - Spokane remains safe and that our residents and team members are doing well. And we are thankful for the first responders, firefighters, and everyone helping keep residents safe throughout the area.
To help seniors who have been displaced, Leisure Care has created the Washington Assistance Program - offering reduced rent and waiving residency fees for 90 days at Washington communities with availability. Our goal is to provide a safe, comfortable place where seniors can find stability while determining their next steps.
Our Washington communities are also collecting essential items, including clothing, food, and toiletries, for people affected by the fires. Donations may be dropped off at a participating Leisure Care community.
