A little look at bingo at Mountain View Care Center! Our residents brought their game faces and enjoyed some friendly competition. There’s always a good time to be had when bingo is on the schedule. 🎉

Crafting time gave residents a chance to get creative and work on something hands-on. There was plenty of conversation along the way, too. It was a nice way to spend some time together.

We’re celebrating two important groups this week!

It’s Environmental Services & Housekeeping Week and National Rehabilitation Awareness Week, and we’re taking the week to recognize the incredible team members who help keep our communities running smoothly and those who help our residents work toward greater strength, independence, and quality of life.

Thank you to everyone who plays a part in making a difference every day!

The cards were dealt and the blackjack game was on. Residents enjoyed putting a little strategy and luck to work around the table. It made for a fun afternoon together.

Meet Veronica Bowers!

Veronica is an Activities Professional with Behavioral Health Solutions who supports the residents of Mountain View Care Center through engaging activities and opportunities for connection. From arts and crafts to games and other group activities, Veronica helps create meaningful opportunities for residents to participate, socialize and enjoy time together.

With a background in Sociology, an Activities Director Certification and years of experience working with both children and older adults, Veronica brings a wealth of experience to the communities she serves.

She has been with Behavioral Health Solutions since 2018 and says she feels blessed to love what she does. We’re grateful to have her as part of the Mountain View community!

Derrick James brought the music to Mountain View Care Center! Residents enjoyed an afternoon of live entertainment, good music, and plenty of smiles. Thank you, Derrick, for spending the afternoon with us and sharing your talent with our residents! 🎶

A day out and about! ✨ Our residents enjoyed an outing to Hoover Dam Lodge, getting a change of scenery and spending some time enjoying the afternoon together. It’s always fun getting out into the community and making memories along the way.

Blackjack was the game of choice at Mountain View Care Center! 🃏 Our residents settled in around the table and got right into the game. We’re just wondering who walked away with the bragging rights!

Art day isn't really about the finished painting. It's about the conversations across the table, trying something new, and having a reason to slow down for a little while. The colorful canvases are just a bonus. 🎨
