We are less than a month away from gathering for our late Fall Women's Retreat (Falling Into Self in Community 🍂) — I have space for a few more women to join the circle! 🙏
As we get closer, I keep thinking about how rare it is to give ourselves permission to step away from the fullness of our lives for a couple of days.
Not to escape our lives. Not to pretend that everything waiting for us will disappear. But to create enough space to hear ourselves again.
Our lives become so full. It can all feel like A LOT. We tend to the people we love. We carry responsibilities. We navigate challenges. We keep doing what needs to be done.
I understand fully the juggle.
And somewhere in all of that, it can become harder to hear our own inner voice — or even know what we need.
This is part of the medicine of retreat.
We step away from our lives to truly hear and tend and hold and honor all that is alive in us.
To bring the exhaustion, grief, questions, tenderness, uncertainty — whatever is asking for our attention — and, for a little while, put some of it down.
We, collectively, enter a safe, loving, accepting, therapeutic container with other women doing the same.
We move. We dance. We rest. We write. We sit in circle. We spend time in nature. We laugh. We cry. We speak the truth. We listen. We witness one another.
And somewhere inside all of that, shifts begin to happen.
I have witnessed this again and again over the years of leading women’s retreats. When we have the time, space, safety, and support to really be with ourselves — and to be witnessed by other women — something opens.
We remember parts of ourselves that have gotten buried beneath the demands of everyday life.
We hear things we haven't been able to hear in all the noise.
We gain clarity around what is working, what isn't, what we are longing for, and what may be ready to change.
And we leave carrying something different back into our lives.
Not because everything has been figured out in a weekend, but because we have shifted our relationship to ourselves and to what we are moving through.
There is laughter and there are tears. Deep sharing and abundant hugs. Grief has an opportunity to surface. There is witnessing and support. Safety and acceptance.
And perhaps one of the greatest medicines is remembering:
I am not alone in any of this.
This is not a luxury spa retreat or an escape from your life. It is an opportunity to step more fully INTO your life — with greater clarity, connection, and access to yourself.
If something in you is feeling the nudge to do something for YOU, I would be honored to have you.
I intentionally created this retreat on the shorter side and more accessible for women to join who have a harder time exiting their lives for many reasons....
Come as you are. Bring your life with you.
All of you is welcome. ❤️
