Freshness Matters - Keeping It Real

Sometimes you may see that we just announce that we have received a new shipment and ALL PRODUCTS ARE BACK IN STOCK - but then you go to our website a few days later only to see that one item you wanted is OUT of stock! ACK! How can this be!?!?!

We receive very limited quantities from our producers in Baja in order to keep the rotation of our products as fresh as possible. We make all our soaps and lotions with freshly harvested natural ingredients from the desert. The flowers that are in bloom at the time, the scents in the air, the salt from the sea, all impact the ultimate result of our incredible products. Unlike others, we don't let our products sit around in plastic containers for months on end, losing potency, vibrancy, and ultimately becoming "stale'.

The solution to this "out of stock" conundrum is to order as soon as you get the notice that we received a shipment. This way you are guaranteed to receive our freshest inventory!

Mini Miracles

Don't you just love those mini miracles we so often find in our daily lives when we are on the lookout for them? Things like the dogs sitting out your door after you return from driving the neighborhood looking for them - certain they would be lost, yet there they are muddy, tired, but safely home. Or when the mammogram comes back negative and the lump dissolves on its own. Or even just the simple fact that we are breathing. All miracles, big and small.

Our creator in Baja had a mini miracle of her own getting the exact amount of product out of Baja and shipped to us in a super FAST manner! Shipping + Baja + Customs + Soaps = typically not fast. It just seemed like the universe aligned and our boxes arrived in record time! Mini miracle right there.

Our banner today is of sunflowers, my favorite flower and apparently the national flower of Ukraine. We at Baja Desert Soaps , who could use some miracles, big and small, now more than ever.

As we approach February 14th, the day assigned for expressing our love to the loves in our lives, it is also important for us to show love to ourselves! All too often we can overlook our own needs for the needs of others, so I encourage you to take some time for yourself this Valentines Day, and love you.

I concentrate on my feet, all my joints and hands, making sure as I rub this luscious lotion into my dry skin to utter some self love affirmations in the process. Damiana Delights!
