Join me LIVE this Sunday while I do my weekly low-nickel meal prep right alongside you. Bring your cutting board, bring your questions, and let's batch-cook a week of safe, gut-friendly food together. This is a relaxed cook-along and open Q&A, so come ask me anything about systemic nickel allergy (SNAS) and the low nickel diet while we work.
ON THE MENU (cooking along from The Low Nickel Diet Cookbook and Guide):
Collagen-rich broth (Cookbook p. 168) — supports the small intestine, where nickel is absorbed and where your glutamine tight junctions live
A low-nickel green (Cookbook p. 216)
Slow cooker pork butt (Cookbook p. 96) — set it and forget it
A potato salad (not in the cookbook, I'll walk you through it live)
White rice
Why the potatoes and white rice? Cooked and then cooled, both build resistant starch, which feeds the butyrate-producing bacteria in your gut. Butyrate is mast cell stabilizing, so this is a simple gut-health move that fits right into a low-nickel week.
Drop your questions in the chat as we go and I'll answer them live.
