Mint is refreshing, soothing, and spreads like wildfire—perfect for summer gardens.

It’s great for digestion, motion sickness, and helping kids cool off physically and emotionally.

Add it to lemonade, smoothies, or popsicles.

Just remember—plant it in a pot unless you want a mint takeover!

Occasional snoring from a cold or allergies is common. But persistent, loud snoring in kids might be a sign of something more—like sleep-disordered breathing or pediatric sleep apnea.

🚩 Call your pediatrician if your child:
😴 Snores loudly or nearly every night
⏸️ Has pauses in breathing during sleep
😵‍💫 Tosses and turns, gasps, or sweats while sleeping
😮‍💨 Breathes through their mouth constantly
💤 Wakes up tired or acts wired (not well-rested)
📉 Struggles with focus, behavior, or growth

Sleep apnea in kids can affect mood, learning, and even heart health if untreated.
The good news? A simple sleep study and treatment plan (often involving tonsil/adenoid evaluation or nasal support) can make a huge difference.

Are you worried about introducing allergens to your baby? 😟🍽️

The newest research shows that introducing common allergens—like nuts, eggs, seeds, fish and dairy—early can actually help build your child’s tolerance over time and avoid allergies in the future! 🌱👶

By introducing these foods early, you’re not just diversifying your child’s palate—you’re also helping their immune system learn to handle these foods.

Introduce these foods one at a time, and keep them in your child’s diet routinely once introduced.

Every child is unique, so be sure to work with your child’s doctor to create a plan that fits your family’s needs.

New walkers don’t need stiff shoes—just a little protection from the ground.

Their feet are still developing bones, muscles, and balance—and barefoot is best when it’s safe.

When shoes are needed (think outdoors, childcare, chilly sidewalks), here’s what to look for:
👣 Flexible soles that bend easily
👣 Lightweight + breathable
👣 Wide toe boxes to let toes spread
👣 No need for arch support or ankle bracing—those muscles are learning to work on their own!

Here are some favorite brands that get it right:
✅ See Kai Run – Great fit, flexible sole, and adorable styles
✅ Ten Little – Designed with pediatricians, wide and healthy fit
✅ Stride Rite – Classic, well-fitting shoes with soft motion technology
✅ Pediped – Flexible, supportive, and approved by the American Podiatric Medical Association
✅ Robeez – Perfect for indoor use or soft surfaces

Let those little feet move, flex, and grow strong—it’s how balance and coordination are built.

Tag a fellow parent with a new walker!

How much more sleep would you and your baby get if you didn’t need to burp them? Maybe a lot!

Not every baby needs to burp every time! If they’re comfortable and not gassy, they’re feeding well, and you can put them down to sleep after feeding, it’s perfectly fine to skip the burping session!

Let’s talk about chamomile—a gentle summer herb that’s easy to grow and a go-to for calming little bodies and big feelings.

This gentle, daisy-like herb is magic for soothing upset tummies, calming bedtime nerves, and easing teething pain.

💛 Pediatrician tip: Try a strong chamomile tea poured into bathwater to calm cranky evenings.

☀️ Easy to grow in full sun. Harvest the blossoms once fully open and dry for tea year-round.
