It never ceases to amaze me at how many clients come to me after seeing other clinicians that didn’t explain or show them what they are doing that is driving their pain.

Patients may come in with an understanding of how to address their symptoms, and have experienced temporary relief, but they’re not shown how to break the cycle of their pain.

That’s why I focus on a thorough evaluation with LOTS of conversation to understand what might be triggering the pain.

I draw on my experience and incorporate a variety of tools (from shockwave therapy to blood flow restriction to dry needling to neuromuscular electrical stimulation to expert manual therapy) but so much is uncovered in a thorough evaluation.

What I look at in a runner-specifc evaluation:

• Gait + stride mechanics
• Functional movement + activation patterns
• Stability + force absorption
• Mobility, flexibility + asymmetries

This is targeted, diagnostic physical therapy for how runners actually move.

Then we build a program that gets you out of pain and back to running at your best.
