Happy Guru Purnima! Today we celebrate and give many many thanks and gratitude for our practice, given to us and supported by a Lineage of teachers who have mastered their own minds and chose to help others in the endeavor to become free, within their own selves.
For us a Guru is not just a teacher, but an invaluable resource in helping us see and transcend our deepest patterns. This support allows us to see what we’re not, and let go of the closest things we’ve identified with that really hold us back from growing. It’s not always easy, but every time it’s worth it and gives us the ability to not just be more happy inside, but serve and share more quality with those closest in our lives.

We were taking in the peaceful atmosphere in the Meditation Dome on an afternoon break. As we turned to get up and get back to our day we noticed the dancing prayer flags out the window of the foyer.

🙏🏽 The power of positivity and prayer has been shown to impact the lives of many. When we or someone close to us are experiencing hardship, positive feelings of love, compassion and healing can make a huge difference in the person’s state of being. This is a transformational experience many have felt and continue to feel even after the practice/prayer has concluded.

For 24 Hours, our meditation community and whomever else would like to join will chant the mantra of the Medicine Buddha while visualizing those we dedicate our practice to in their happiest and healthiest state of being.

Using the sacred texts of Kashmir Shaivism, the teachings of Swami Rudrananda (Rudi), and the perspective of Bhakti Yoga, we will explore the nature of Kundalini Shakti, how to make an inner connection and the benefits of such a connection.
