This week is Eating Disorder Awareness Week, and I want to shine a light on a topic that’s often hidden but far too common in the equestrian world.

Eating disorders are not about vanity—they are mental health disorders. And sadly, they are more prevalent in our industry than many realize. The pressure to “look the part,” perform at our best, and manage both physical and mental demands can create a breeding ground for unhealthy habits.

But here’s what you need to know:
✨ You are not alone.
✨ Your worth is not defined by your body.
✨ Help is available, and recovery is possible.
